Highlights 2023/24

We are pleased to present our Highlights of 2023/24. This year, through various initiatives, we have invested in the future growth and sustainability of our organization. We have conducted a survey on vitality and inclusion within our organization and launched the sustainability check in the Praxis Plus app. At Brico, we partnered with Needhelp for professional handyman assistance for customers and Brico Oostakker was renovated into a more sustainable store with features including solar panels and a green roof. "The past financial year 2023/24 was challenging, but I am pleased with our performance. Despite global economic and geopolitical obstacles, Maxeda achieved solid results. Our strategic focus on sustainability and innovation has clearly contributed to our success.

We have made significant investments to strengthen our market position and ensure future growth. This includes opening new stores, as well as making our existing stores more sustainable and expanding the number of stores. Additionally, we have further improved the sustainability of our product range and enhanced our digital activities. We have invested in our online marketplace and loyalty programs.

I am particularly proud that, despite the difficult circumstances, we have consistently provided our customers with the products and services they need for their DIY projects. This success is due to the dedication and creativity of all our employees, whom I would like to thank for their continued commitment.

The economic outlook remains uncertain and the market challenging. However, I am confident that with our focus on sustainability and innovation, supported by a strong strategic vision, we will make significant progress in the coming year."
