33% energy savings with LED Lighting

With Light as a Service by Philips, Maxeda DIY Group opts for sustainability and an even more thrilling shopping experience. In the framework of this project, the lamps in 120 Praxis stores have been replaced by low-energy LED lighting during the past year. In addition to the gigantic energy savings, the products stand out more prominently and it saves costs. The pendant luminaires have been specially designed for Praxis. Since they are produced in the Netherlands through digital manufacturing and because they are fully recyclable, they ensure an extremely low carbon footprint. Based on the results to date, savings of over 11,000,000 kWh are expected in 2019. This is a decrease of 33% compared to when the project started in 2016.
