Gered Gereedschap: 300,000 hand tools collected

Gered Gereedschap (the foundation Rescued Tools) supports craftsmen and apprentices in developing countries with knowledge, skills and means. That way it gives craftsmen the chance to build an independent existence as a carpenter or car mechanic, for example. For more than 20 years, Praxis has been a partner of Gered Gereedschap and offers customers the opportunity to deliver their hand tools in the special collection bins in more than 150 stores. In 2018, 300,000 hand tools were collected, making it possible to ship two sea containers to Cameroon and Tanzania in September 2018. In addition, Praxis sponsors the printed matter and the newsletters issued by Gered Gereedschap.
