94,400 kg waste collected for recycling

Maxeda DIY Group has a clear policy for waste separation. Wood, metal, plastic and other waste are collected separately at the Praxis stores and disposed of by certified waste companies. Praxis customers also have the opportunity to hand in batteries, low-energy light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and small electrical appliances in their store. In this framework, Praxis collaborates with Wecycle, which collects the gathered materials and arranges the recycling. This means that Praxis takes its responsibility to have discarded electrical equipment and low-energy lighting collected and recycled in a responsible manner. In 2018, more than 94,400 kg of waste were collected from 164 Praxis stores, most of which consisted of small electrical appliances and low-energy light bulbs.
