76 amfori BSCI audits carried out

Many products sold in Maxeda DIY Group stores come from the Far East. Maxeda DIY Group feels a sense of responsibility for the labour conditions in those factories where the products for Maxeda are made. One of the requirements for suppliers of our own brand is therefore to clearly identify the labour conditions through, for example, audits.

And so in line with this, 76 amfori BSCI audits were carried out last year in Asia, 73 of which at suppliers in China, 2 in Vietnam and 1 in Indonesia. All audits resulted in an acceptable score. In addition, Maxeda is a member of amfori BSCI and actively participates in the Dutch network meetings.
